Recipes

Finding the right veggie dish should be simple. We tagged every recipe by diet, and occasion. Need a 20-minute dinner? A make-ahead lunch? Gluten-free or dairy-free options? They’re all sorted for you. Pick a filter, scroll, and you’ll land on exactly what you came for - fast.

How this is organized

Every recipe on the site is vegetarian, so none of these groupings are about whether a dish qualifies. They are three different ways of asking the same question, and which one helps depends on what you already know. Meal type is the one to use when you know the slot you are cooking for and not the dish. Dish type is for the opposite case, when soup or pasta is already decided and the meal it belongs to is not. Diet cuts across both.

Those diet listings are worth trusting over the name of a recipe. Vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free are set per recipe from what is actually in the ingredient list, not inferred from the title, which matters because vegetarian food is not gluten-free by default. Wheat hides in soy sauce, seitan, most noodles and plenty of stocks, and a dish can read as plant-based and still have butter in the pan.

A recipe usually belongs to more than one of these, so the same dinner can turn up under soup and under lunch. If none of it narrows things down enough, every recipe on the site sits on one page under All Recipes, newest first.
